Typically, you treat the creature as if it's constitution modifier was +0.
Thanks for the info, sad a bit, cause for generating equipement...not very good, cause you cannot generate better than your CON as bulk.
With a knack, you can go for hup to 1 bulk...not fantastique, but i will figure something to make it nice.
the concepte is cool, i think, no need to be to powerful :)

I mean... the NPC creation rules are guidelines. It wouldn't be overpowered to choose another ability score for nanocyte abilities as a special ability available to the creature. Probably charisma if you want to be traditional to undead from pathfinder and older DND editions.

I am happy that you said that, cause thats exactly what i was thinking at, but since i am not famillair with Starfinder and i dont want to unbalance, then i was afraid to make that changed.
Thats really helpful and i will go on that path for sure :)

Thankfully it's sort of irrelevant to a degree for that at least. Monsters use simplified rules and their gear array goes off this instead:
Quote:
The nanocyte knows how to create 3 weapons (item level = CR) and 3 technological items (item level = CR or lower)
They don't need to fiddle around with the official restrictions.

The cloud array is still based on con mod though. Still easy enough to tweak.

Yep, for things that demands a DC, i will go with the old ruled, using charisma.
Will pose a bit of a threat and make thing nice to i believe.
Thanks for your assistance.

I don't personally like nanocyte on an undead because the flavor with con is clearly that the nanocytes are converting and replacing a great deal of your body, presumably feeding off and fueling their growth and regeneration from your biological processes - that's why they do more the stronger your constitution is. A dead body can't fuel that, it would just get eaten away.

I understand your point of view and i found it very interesting.
The thing is, i want to used it as a techno virus (like the one who as infected Cable in the Marvel univers) and they replace slowly your body and subverthing yourself to their will.
In final, the machine as more advantage to animate host after their demise to pursu is infecting role to achieve a perfect control. It is not the undead who is in charge, but a crazy AI that want to dominate everything.
Knowing the resistance that living organims as for control, undead fit better is neeed, until a better solution is find.
Something like this is the idea behind it.
I just like the concept of the class and this will couple real nice with the nano-zombie that discporporate host to achieve this.
Also, i will be using mini from Sedition Wars for the nanocyte undead, phase 1 would be ordinary nano-zombie, and phase 2, nanocyte and that goes to phase 5, the higher the phase, the more dangerous it it, with sentitent nanyte be more evolve and powerful.
If you happen to have a better host, i would be interested, since i am new to starfinder, but i find cool in a way.
Thanks

Bear in mind that NPCs are always subject to design at the GM's discretion. . . and NPCs are the only ones who should ever be "full" undead under the current rules.
Thnaks for the comment and no worries, it will be only for NPC, if a player get infected...well that will be threated as a disease that leads to death, cause the nanite drain the energy to duplicate themselve, changing the host body slowly in a machine.
