Should I buy bus tickets in advance? ›

Although it is not obligatory, we do recommend you buy tickets in advance, to ensure there are seats on the required service and so you can choose the seat you wish to travel in. Also, the sooner you buy your ticket, the better your chances of obtaining a special fare.

Generally, it's a good idea to book at least a few weeks in advance, but some companies offer discounts for booking even earlier than that. You also should take your timing and the seasons into consideration.
