Upcoming changes to the M@C Discount Fee Structure - M@C Discount (1)

Thank you for being a M@C Discount bidder. When we began running auctions in back in 2018 we elected to start all auctions at $1.00 and sell all items without a reserve price. In order to cover the operational costs of running the business we add a $2.00 lot fee to each item sold. Since that time, we have seen our labor cost grow by more than 70% and supply chain cost increases of even larger percentages. In order to keep opening bid prices at $1.00, we are increasing the lot fee to $3.00. The new fee structure will begin with auctions closing on September 1, 2023.

We would also like to take this opportunity to share some of the contributions to our community we have made with your help.

  • We now employ over 1,200 great teammates and are creating new jobs in more than 20 communities.
  • M@C Discount has given more than $1.5 million in Mac Bucks to our employees, in addition to competitive wages.
  • Through our weekly Charity Auctions, we have donated more than $200,000 to local charities, and this number is growing every week!

We are thankful for our success, and look to give back to our communities wherever possible. Thank you for supporting these endeavors.

In the coming months we will be introducing new ways to save and get great deals on customer returns and overstock products. In addition to the new Yinz Binz stores opening in Pennsylvania (Uniontown & Butler) and Ohio (Canton), we have more concepts in development. Stay tuned for more details.

Thank you,

M@C Discount Team
